Acapulco (Officially: Acapulco de Juárez) is located southwest of Mexico – in the state of Guerrero – the Pacific Ocean.Acapulco has approximately 670,000 inhabitants (2010), and has since the 1950s been a popular tourist destination, especially for those who want sun and beach holiday. The city is also known for having a vibrant nightlife with nightclubs, bars and restaurants.

Acapulco is an important trade and harbor city, and has a pleasant tropical climate all year round and beautiful beaches. Many cruise ships arriving at the port of Acapulco (for the period April-November).

The cityscape is marked by skyscrapers and luxury hotels. Of the city’s most popular tourist attractions need bathing beach “Playa Icacos” mentioned as well as clips “La Quebrada”. Tourists come here to see the divers jumping from 35 meter high cliffs and into the sea.
