Ankara Esenboga International Airport (ESB) is located 29 km northeast of Ankara center.The airport serves Turkey’s capital, and is centrally located in the country.
The airport is called in Turkish “Ankara Esenboga Havalimani”.
Ankara Airport was opened in 1955 and has one terminal building – which was modernized in 2006.
The airport serves 7.7 million passengers a year (2010).
