Benidorm is located in southeast Spain on the Mediterranean coast, and is part of the Valencia region.The city is located in the Alicante Province, and has 71,000 inhabitants (2010).Benidorm is the Costa Blanca coastline, and is one of Spain’s most popular seaside resorts.
Benidorm is surrounded by mountains, and is located at the “Puig de la Campana” which towers 1406 meters above sea level This is one of the highest mountains of the Costa Blanca.
Benidorm receives over 5 million visitors annually, and the sun, swimming and water sports are the focus of most of them. The cityscape is characterized by long sandy beaches, skyscrapers and tourist hotels. Because of the many tall buildings, called Benidorm often “Little Manhattan”.
