Stathelle is a small town located in the municipality of Bamble in Telemark. It is located around 160 km south of Oslo, situated between Langesund and Porsgrunn at E18.The city has approx. 6336 (2008) inhabitants
Stathelle is close to many beautiful natural areas, both inland and along the coast. Archipelago in the city and nearby towns Langesund and Kragerø is especially popular in summer for those who enjoy boating and swimming.
From Langesund ca. 7 km south of Stathelle take a ferry to Hirtshals. In Langesund a visit Bamble coastal museum housed in a shed at the sound Langesund.
