Umeå is located in northern Sweden, and is an industry, administration, and university.The city is part of Västerbotten County and has about 80,000 inhabitants (2011). 18 km southeast of Umeå city’s port – Holmsund – Gulf of Bothnia. From here ferries to such Vaasa Finland.
Umeå is also an important trade center and a major transport hub.
