Nashville, Tennessee – The Music Capital of the United States

Savannah – “Hometown” of Forrest Gump
Savannah is the oldest city in the state of Georgia, founded in 1733. It attracts many visitors, in part because it has a nice center with many old and venerable buildings,with cobbled streets, great parks, and famous landmarks. Savannah is also known for its many and fine sandy beaches located on the Tybee Islands outside the city centre (you reach several of those by car). This is also one of America’s best cities when it comes to food. The proximity to the Atlantic means good access to fresh seafood, which you get served in plentiful portions at the city’s many good restaurants.

Parking and traffic with car hire
Atlanta is among the cheapest major cities in the United States to park in. The city also has a very high number of parking spaces in relation to the number of cars on the roads. You will find street parking everywhere, but please note that it is not as safe in all places. Some areas of the city centre can occur, although statistically it usually goes well. Traffic in Atlanta is described as quite hefty during rush hour. There may be long queues, with a lot of aggressive drivers on the roads. The city has grown significantly in recent years, which contributes to the problem. You avoid the worst by leaving the car for those hours when people are going to and from work. Please note that you can be fined in the state of Georgia if you drive too slowly in the left file on the highways. Airport
The main airport in Atlanta is called Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, named after two of the city’s former mayors. Despite the size of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, it is relatively easy with car rental there. All car hire companies are bundled into a separate center (RCC – Rental Car Center) open 24 hours a day.
