Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America, but has a population of 28,946,101 (2011) inhabitants. It borders Colombia to the west, Brazil in the south and southeast, and Guyana to the east.Outside the Venezuelan coast islands Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire and Trinidad and Tobago.

Venezuela is considered a country with extremely high biodiversity and varied landscape. In the northwest and along the Caribbean coast in the north is an extension of the Andes Mountains with the highest mountain Pico Bolivar located 5007 m Amazon basin in the south, and the Caribbean coast to the north. It is primarily the nature that draws tourists to the country. Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, and its economy is heavily dependent on oil.

Salto Ángel is the highest waterfall in the world with a height of 1002 meters. It is located in the Canaima National Park, southeast of the country, and is 19 times higher than Niagara Falls.

In Morrocoy National Park located east of the Caribbean coast, a combine turquoise waters and white beaches of discovery in the forests around that has an abundance of wildlife.
